The police have asked for the public’s help to track down suspects in an attempted house robbery and an armed robbery case.
On Tuesday June 12, at 3.20am Lentegeur police received a complaint of an attempted house robbery at Sunbird Road, Morgen’s Village.
A woman reported that she had arrived home and unlocked the security gate and front door.
As she closed the gate, she was confronted by two unknown men who ordered her to open the gate. She then opened the gate and stepped out of the house.
The suspects tried to force her back into the house, but she started shouting. The suspects then ran and allegedly fled in a white Toyota Avanza with registration CA 138 777.
On Saturday April 21, at 5.20pm, a woman was walking in Eisleben Road, Colorado Park, when she was passed by two men who had come from across the street. The men turned back and one of them pointed a gun at her, demanding her valuables.
The suspects ran in the direction of Heinz Park with the woman’s handbag containing two cellphones.
