The Lions men and boys wore high heels to raise awareness about gender-based violence and to raise funds for Lions Clubs International Foundation.

“As a service organisation we support and understand the need to educate our societies about the commonly overlooked topic of gender-based violence, and aim to raise funds for our Lions Clubs International Foundation in order for clubs, like ours, to continue their awareness and outreach programmes based on the topic,” said Bevil Lakay from Lions Club of Mitchell’s Plain.
