We would like to thank members of Mitchell’s Plain SAPS’ Crime Prevention Unit and members of Grassy Park SAPS for their outstanding work in helping a child in Hyde Park, Tafelsig, on Thursday February 21 who was caught under a car after a car accident.
The officers lifted the car and extracted the child and took him to Red Cross Children’s Hospital. The ambulance had to wait at the local police station, to be escorted into the area.
The child sustained minor scratches and bruises because of their quick thinking and speedy service.
We greatly appreciate the outstanding work that these officers had done, as they had gone beyond the call of duty.
