Friends, community and social skills were just some of the themes about 200 children of all ages explored during a holiday programme in Westridge.
Sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, the programme was run by 3FoldLife, a non-profit company, at the Dagbreek Community Hall, from Monday January 9 to Friday January 13.
The children had a great time, especially when the slip-and-slide came out, said Donavan Witbooi, 3FoldLife’s director and co-founder.
On Friday January 13, the children dressed up as superheroes, wearing masks they had made, and the day before, they visited the Mitchell’s Plain fire station.
