School of Skills receives IT equipment

The initiative was launched through weRproudly Innovative Initiative NPC, in collaboration with MTN and Knights Innovation Support Center, said managing director of Knights Innovation Support Center, Sean Achim.

Fifty laptops and 100 tablet devices were donated to Mitchell’s Plain School of Skills in Rocklands last week.

The donation on Wednesday May 10 was thanks to an initiative launched through weRproudly Innovative Initiative NPC, in collaboration with MTN and Knights Innovation Support Center.

The event featured a live demonstration by Knights Innovation Support Center, who provided teachers and special guests with a first-hand glimpse into the game-changing possibilities of the IT hardware.

Mitchell’s Plain School of Skills technical teacher Samuel Verkuil said this is a great opportunity for their pupils. “It is a huge benefit as it caters to our pupils and their ability to empower themselves through technology and education,” he said.
