Mother and child photographic competition

■ Westgate Mall celebrated Mother’s Day by hosting a mother and child photographic competition. There were 200 entries, and 17 finalists. The winners, announced on Saturday May 13, were Piliswa and daughter Kho-Jada Jikajika from Guguletu, and first runner up Catherine and daughter Kelsi Julius of Devon Park in Eerste River. Pictured are second runner-up Blanche Maree and her son Bryan Maree from Rocklands.
