The AJ Foundation has raised over 1 000 pads for women’s month.
The foundation focuses on youth development and community upliftment. It was established by Jesse James Julius, professional footballer Cole Alexander, and Linton Henry.
They managed to collect 1025 sanitary pads for their women’s month feeding scheme and upliftment project, said Mr Henry, the director at AJ Foundation.
“This event was a massive achievement not only for the foundation but for all those involved including everyone that contributed.
“In the space of three weeks we managed to reach the target. We worked together as a team to make this happen and we are so proud. Through this initiative we were also able to donate over 100 packs of sanitary pads to a few schools in the surrounding area such as Cornflower Primary School, Lantana Primary School to name a few,” said Mr Henry.
