Volunteers complete child protection training

Volunteer Laura Spannenberg received a certificate of attendance for the child protection training sessions held through the Advance Edukos Foundation.

Advance Edukos Foundation volunteers who started hosting after-school programmes for youth when lockdown started, recently received child protection training.

Those who attended training also received personal protective equipment packs and a certificate of attendance, on Monday April 12.

Two of their staff members – founder Wendy Abrahams and after-school practitioner and facilitator of their boys programme, Ashley Spannenberg – are doing intensive capacity child protection and safe-guarding training with Connect Network, as they are designated child protection officers for Advance Edukos Foundation.
