Thank you Unchain the Plain

New Woodlands residents living around Johannes Meintjies Central Park thank Unchain the Plain for their donation of soccer balls, cricket sets and tennis bats.

Gerald Scheepers, New Woodlands

We, Johannes Meintjies Central Park, want to thank Unchain the Plain (UTP) for donating the soccer balls, netballs, cricket sets, tennis bats.

You made the children’s day, put smiles on their little faces and warmed our hearts.

It is our vision to show the role communities have in the development of our young people.

We see a lot of teen pregnancy, drug abuse, drinking, gangsterism and pupil drop-outs.

Too many people are living on the streets in poverty and an increasingly number of children experience food insecurity.

Sports is one way of creating social change, bringing together a rather divided community and keeping our kids out of gangs.

UTP – words cannot describe what your donation and assistance means to us.

May we continue to take hands and walk together on this journey and reach out to our community and especially our children.
