■ A free masterclass and workshop on building a sustainable career in the music industry was held at Cedar High School of Arts on Saturday September 29. Three successful artists, Roeshdien Jaz, Jarred Ricketts and Chad Saaiman, shared their experiences on being in the music business and tips on how to make it. The event was hosted by the Mitchell’s Plain Music Academy in association with Joox South Africa and Music Exchange and Cedar High School of Arts in Rocklands.
