Spine Road High School came first place at the Bonds Bee Mathematics Competition recently. This year, 1 523 pupils from 20 high schools took part in the competition, which was sponsored by the UCT and the Western Cape Education Department’s Metro South district office. Each round was held at a different school, with each one being represented by teams comprising five Grade 8 pupils and five Grade 9 pupils. Spine Road High competed with Lentegeur, Glendale, AZ Berman, Rocklands and Oval North high schools in the round robin events.
