A 22-year-old man was arrested for selling liquor without a valid licence in Seahawk Street, Rocklands, on Thursday July 6, at 1.30pm.
The man was arrested by the Mitchell’s Plain Firearms Liquor and Second-hand goods (FLASH) unit and will appear in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court.
A man, aged 36, was arrested for being in possession of a silver Tarus 3.2 firearm wrapped in a clear plastic and three 3.2 live rounds in Lebombo Crescent in Tafelsig on Sunday July 9, at 8.35am. Two days before, police had arrested a 22-year-old man for possession of a live 9mm round, in Olive Street, Eastridge.
