Mitchell’s Plain residents and businesses heeded the call from Deen Louw, also known as D-Low, to host the 21st birthday of Taylor Allies, from Tafelsig, who has cerebral palsy – and on Saturday June 29, a party was hosted at her aunt Mandi Lombard’s house in Lentegeur. Taylor’s mother Deborah Snyman thanked all those who had made the celebration possible. “Our team really went out of their way to make her day special. I’m so proud of them,” said D-Low.
