Beacon Valley teen off to Tennessee

Garneth Warnick, 18, from Morgenster in Beacon Valley is the National Youth Fest Teen Talent 2018 champion, and will be heading to Tennessee, USA, in June, to represent South Africa at the International Teen Talent contest (“Musical fingers take Garneth to Tennessee”, Plainsman, July 18, 2018). Camillo Lombard, the founder of Cape Music Institute (CMI) made a guest appearance at his Piano and Tea fund-raiser at Shekinah Full Gospel Church in Beacon Valley on Saturday April 6 to wish Garneth well on what he believed would be the journey of a lifetime.
