Melomed Mitchell’s Plain celebrated International Nurses’ Day on May 12 by raising awareness of the important role nurses play in society. The date is also the birth date of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing. Nursing staff enjoyed a scrumptious lunch to acknowledge their hard work, caring hands and their passion for their profession. The management of Melomed Mitchell’s Plain saluted all nurses, “especially the remarkable nurses at our hospital”, for their dedication and commitment to ensuring that the total recovery of their patients remains a core focus.
