The Excellent Community Kidz and Youth Club held their first Gospel Talent Show at Westridge civic centre on Friday November 11. They aim for the event to be an annual one.
On the line-up for the evening were singers, dancers and gospel rappers.
Event organiser and general secretary of the club, Ashton Februarie said it was the first of many to come.
“I had this vision that God gave me, and I’ve made it my mission. We often only see the ‘name brands’ on stage and forget that there is more talent out there somewhere”.
Mr Februarie said the vision behind the Talent Show is to create a platform for people to showcase their talent and minister on stage.
He thanked all those who had supported them including the guest artists such as Young Revelations and all their sponsors.
Mr Februarie said they were currently busy with their Santa shoe box project, and encouraged people to get involved.
