Following reports in the Plainsman on Woodlands United's impressive performance in this year's Coke Cup tournament, Ninety One, the marketing wing of asset management company, Investec, sponsored the squad branded kit which they wore for the first time in their quarter-final clash against Saxon Rovers and also in their semi-final clash against Rygersdal, at Westridge, a fortnight ago. “Congrats to the Woodlands United FC team on their performance. While I’m sure the team is slightly disappointed that they did not make it to the final, they can certainly be proud of their achievement,” said Donna Barnes, Ninety One deputy head of marketing. “We are proud to sponsor Woodlands United Football Club and support the team’s ongoing commitment and hard work to achieving extraordinary results. Well done on the club’s recent performance in the Coca Cola Cup and reaching the semi-final.” Pictured from left are, John Green, chief operations officer at Ninety One, Woodlands United chairman Brendan Fernandes, club member Darmain Williams and Charlene Fernandes.Woodlands United's senior squad in their branded sponsored kit.
