Pictured is some of the action from Saturday’s inaugural Multi Socca National Festival at Rygate. The event, hosted by Walking Football Cape Town, featured Walking Football, Running 6s Socca, and Mix Walking Socca for men and women, including a new invention – Multi Mix, targeted at individuals aged 50 to 60 and older. Saturday’s festivities featured teams from all the provinces. Founder and organiser Ruudi Abrahams said the emphasis of the small-sided games (five and six-a-side) is on fun, health and safety, for men and women of all ages, promoting fun, fitness and friendship.
