Karate students from dojos based at the Woodlands and Portland community centres performed well at the Unicity Western Province Championships, at the Belhar Sport Centre, a fortnight ago.
The competition featured more than160 competitors ranging from six years to adults, representing dojos across the city and beyond.
Chief instructor, Shihan Gavin Smith said his students did exceptionally well by showing extraordinary fighting skills and sportsmanship in their age and weight categories.
