Members of the Portland-based Shukokai Karate Club are gearing up for their upcoming senior Dan grading ceremony.
The club, established in 1977 by founder member, the late Wallace Fortuin, who died in 2021, is based at the Mitchell’s Plain Indoor Sport and Recreation Centre, in Portland. Training sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6.30pm to 8pm. For more information, call 071 871 1104.
