Shahiem van Nelson, Good political party leader for Mitchell’s Plain
The recent local government election was a first for many of the Good party’s ward councillor candidates.
It was very exciting.
While we were hopeful of winning some of the Mitchell’s Plain wards, we are happy with the growth we experienced across the region and in the City of Cape Town.
Nine proportional representation (PR) councillors will be taking their seats in this week’s full council, including Saul Markgraff, from Rocklands.
Mr Markgraff is humbled to serve our community with integrity and excellence.
We will continue to work to earn the support of the people of Mitchell’s Plain and to grow.
We plan to open an office in Mitchell’s Plain to improve our ability to serve residents and for them to find assistance and service.
