D’Louw, musician and founder of Deen Louw Foundation
We are a Mitchell’s Plain-based organisation.
We have and still are serving our community since 1993 without receiving any government funding.
We have been running our projects merely through the kind heartedness of our community and local Muslim businessmen, who are the backbone and the reason for our foundation’s growth.
Since the pandemic hit our shores our people have gone through a tough time.
We all felt it but the front line, essential workers, were at the forefront and deserve all of the credit.
They save many lives and it is only fair that we offer them some luxury gift packs.
We already started at Brooklyn Chest Hospital, in Ysterplaat and we will be with them on International Nurses’ Day, May 12.
It will coincide with our heroes’ gift pack handover with a small performance from various artists, who volunteered their talents.
We need the following items to be donated: snack bars, bubble gum, sweets, energy drinks, cereal bars, chips, juice, small hand sanitisers and fruit.
Our stationery drive was successful because of your hearts, people from Mitchell’s Plain and surrounding areas.
Let the next project be even better.
