The Lyric Analyzer and the ACDP branch in Mitchell’s Plain will be hosting a youth programme called Stand-up for Love at the ACDP office at the Engen garage in Eastridge in November.
Teens from Grade 8 to 12 are invited to attend the programme, which will include discussions and activities.
Organiser Jeremy Manuel, a community worker, previously ran music programmes, through which he taught youngsters how to read and write music.
“The best way for the youth to learn what love entails is to entertain and have fun with them. Love is suppose to guide us but if we do not know what it entails than things will go wrong. There are organisations which stand up for people with aids, cancer so The Lyric Analyzer encourages each other to love,” he said.
