Workshop on domestic violence

Mitchell’s Plain United Residents’ Association (MURA) and Mitchell’s Plain Crisis Line, hosted a workshop on domestic violence on Wednesday June 12 at Mitchell’s Plain police station. Garry Titus, senior public prosecutor for sexual offences and community affairs in Cape Town spoke on how to identify domestic violence, how to report it and how to remain safe or take precautions against it. The community requested that another workshop be held.
