Three men, aged between 29 and 37, were shot in Cedarberg Street, in Tafelsig, on Saturday January 7, around 10.40pm.
The men sustained bullet wounds to their upper bodies and were treated on the scene by paramedics.
No arrests have been made, and an attempted murder case has been opened for investigation.
Mitchell’s Plain police spokesman Jerome Voegt said the circumstances surrounding the shootings were being investigated.

A total of 551 people were arrested for various crimes in the Mitchell’s Plain cluster between Friday December 30 and Thursday January 5.
Police arrested 373 people for drug-related crimes during stop-and-search operations.
According to police, they searched 64 houses for drugs resulting in the confiscation of more than 1.5kg of dagga, 289 mandrax tablets, 455 grams of tik and 77g of heroin.
Police arrested 37 people for incidents relating to domestic violence and searched 24 shebeens, confiscating 182 litres of liquor and arresting three people for selling liquor illegally.
During 16 tracing operations, 66 wanted people were arrested.
around 6.30pm, a man, aged 36, was arrested for being in possession of four 9mm rounds and a magazine, in Tafelberg Road, in Tafelsig.
The search had been conducted in reponse to a complaint.
