Metro police officers arrested a 15-year-old boy for possession of drugs in Lentegeur yesterday morning.
The teenager was spotted leaving a known drug den in Eisleben Road.
The officers stopped him to enquire why he was at the residence, he could not provide an answer.
The officers took the teenager to his home and searched him in the presence of his mother.
They found 100 mandrax tablets.
He was then arrested and transported, with his mother, to Lentegeur police station, where he was detained for further investigation.
