Two structures were destroyed in fires earlier this week.
On Monday morning August 27, a wendy house was destroyed in a fire in Beachcraft Crescent, Rocklands.
Two fire engines, one rescue vehicle and 12 firefighters were on the scene where four people were displaced but no injuries were sustained. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. The day before, on Sunday August 26, an informal structure was destroyed in a fire at Mitchell’s Plain Town Centre.
Fire and Rescue Service responded at 7.30pm, and by 8.02pm the five firefighters on the scene had extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Fire and Rescue Serivces spokesman Theo Layne said the cause of the fire had yet to be determined.
