Six armed men robbed a store in Rocklands at 7.10am, on Friday April 29, fleeing with R15 000 and 23 cellphones.
Mitchell’s Plain police spokes-person, Sergeant Jerome Voegt, said the men allegedly entered a cash and carry superette and pointed firearms at the employees.
“The suspects used their fire-arms to assault the people inside the shop before fleeing the scene. A case of robbery was opened for investigation. No arrests have yet been made,” he said.
