Members of The Mama Project, from Sewende Laan Informal Settlement in Strandfontein, distributed meals, blankets and words of hope to people living on the streets of Town Centre on Saturday June 26.
Member Kathleen Faro said they wanted to share the little they had with those who even had less.
“We want to speak to them, pray with them and sing with them to spread a word of hope and encourage them to know that this is not the end for them.
“Irrespective of living on the streets, it is never too late to change and make a difference,” she said.
