Mitchell’s Plain SAPS arrested seven people in Town Centre last week – six of them for drug-related offences.
On Thursday April 22 Mitchell’s Plain SAPS, Law Enforcement and traffic officers, and neighbourhood watch members held a joint operation in the Town Centre, focusing on compliance inspections, the sale of second-hand goods, drugs, firearms and undocumented persons.
During the three-hour operation, one arrest was made for possession of dagga, five arrests were made for possession of heroin, and one warrant of arrest for a maintenance order. A total of seven people were detained. The suspects are expected to appear in court soon on various charges.
