Seniors event

■ Rocklands library and the Friends of Rocklands Library hosted a Mother’s Day event for seniors on Wednesday May 17. They were treated to lunch, cake and tea and were entertained by song and dance. The seniors also won spot prizes for the grandmother with the most grandchildren, the best dancer and singer. The women also got free massages and left with a gift. The library thanked Rocklands Friends of the Library and those who donated items for the event.
