To launch the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, the Provincial Legislature hosted a programme with gender rights organisations, on Friday November 24. The aim of the event was to network with other organisations involved in similar work and encourage communities who had knowledge and information to share their programmes and campaigns. Organisations from 20 areas in Cape Town attended the event at the Legislature. Reporter KAYLYNN PALM was there.
