Community workers who selflessly serve the community and who have made a positive impact in the lives of the people of Mitchell’s Plain, will be recognised for their efforts at the inaugural Mitchell’s Plain United Residents’ Association’s (MURA) 2023 Community Service Awards on Friday September 29.
The public are invited to nominate community workers in 10 different categories by the closing date on Thursday September 14. The awards will be given at a black-tie gala event at Cedar High School hall in Rocklands on Friday September 29 at 6pm. Tickets to the event are R200 and corporates and businesses can book tables of 10.
