Mitchell’s Plain and Strandfontein businesses and entrepreneurs have been given personal protective equipment (PPE) starter kits. Plein Chamber director Sean Achim said they had delivered kits to businesses at Watergate Shopping Centre on Tuesday last week and at The Hub, in Westridge, on Friday. The chamber is an umbrella body of Mitchell’s Plain businesses. The kits were sponsored and delivered by Old Mutual and the provincial Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Strandbay Business Forum hosted a handover evening at Gerard’s Early Childhood Development Centre in Strandfontein on Friday. Forum chairman Igshaan Carstens said it had been a good networking opportunity.
