’Plain’s Christian women honour Taiwan

Mitchell’s Plain Christian women honoured Taiwan by following an international worship programme set by the island’s women worshippers.

This year’s Women’s World Day of Prayer (WWDP) programme, documented in a booklet circulated throughout the world, was enacted at the Mitchells Plain United Church, in Westridge, on Friday March 3.

The theme “I have heard about your faith”, from the Ephesians scripture, had women writing down values, including love, prayer and service; and how they would be showing this in their everyday life.

Lorraine Williams, WWDP Mitchell’s Plain co-ordinator, said the event brought women from different churches together in prayer.
