Mitchell’s Plain Music School had an open day on Saturday January 28 at the Woodlands Community Hall.
Parents and prospective music students gathered at the hall on Saturday to join the music school.
The band entertained the crowd with a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody. From left are percussionist Adrian Bothma, bassist, Zoe Mullins, guitarist, Nathanael Afrikaner, drummer Nathan Jacobs, guitarist, Dale Mellem, pianist, Jared Langley and singer Nataly Engelbrecht.
Bassist, Zoe Mullins, 18, said the school has helped her express herself and enjoy music for what it is. Anyone who loves music can join, “you’re never too old to learn”.
