More than 50 Mitchell’s Plain Cluster police officers were honoured for their long service, including 10, 20 and 30 years, in a medal handover ceremony at Portland indoor sports centre on Thursday December 7. The police cluster includes Mitchell’s Plain, Lentegeur, Strandfontein, Steenberg, Grassy Park, Lansdowne, Athlone and Philippi police stations.
