The newly elected Tafelsig East sub-forum held a fun day for children in their area on Sunday April 11, where they played games and fed the community.
“It was an honour to be elected as chair of the new sub-forum for Tafelsig East. I was in tears when it happened, I never thought that the community has so much trust in me to lead the community. I’m willing to assist the community and help as it is my passion to fight crime.” said chairperson Cheryleen Fredericks.
The team plans to create safer spaces for children and and help reduce crime. They also want to uplift the youth and create more job opportunities, she said.
