Seven Beacon Valley netball teams held a tournament at Alpine netball court in Beacon Valley on Tuesday August 12, in honour of local player Naeema Marshall, 14, who was shot dead while visiting her aunt in Eerste River last month. The teams were supported by Safeline Child Abuse Treatment and Prevention Centre members, Police Oversight and Community Safety MEC Reagen Allen and Beacon Valley councillor Solomon Philander.Beacon Valley councillor Solomon Philander, Police Oversight and Community Safety MEC Reagen Allen and Beacon Valley Neighbourhood Watch chairman Colin de Hart with a trophy presented to the winning team.
