Beacon Valley author and illustrator Paulvin Webster, at the back in the middle, launched his second self-published children’s book, Captain AK and Miss Robby, at his home with his neighbours’ children on Saturday October 7. The story follows Miss Robby, a seal, as she is forced to leave her ocean home because of global warming caused by pollution. The characters go on an adventure to show the importance of living in harmony with nature and being environmentally conscious. Mr Webster will be speaking at the Cape Flats Book Festival at West End Primary School, in Lentegeur, on Saturday November 4 and Sunday November 5.
