Latiefa Burricks, New Lentegeur
I want to expose the National Lottery as I got five numbers in the lottery – one ball from Jackpot and that payout is R1 308.10, which had 204 winners totalling R266 852.40; and the four plus bonus that is lower than the five numbers had paid out R1 494.10, with the 327 winners, totalling R488 570.70.
How can it be more if it is a lower level of winning? I mean we talking about a lot of online money here. People should be warned.

The draw results, as published, are correct.
With regards to this particular draw and in draws such as this one, it means that there were fewer winners in that division and hence the pay-out was more.
An example would be: a jackpot of R2.8 million and is hit by 13 winners at once that will mean each person will be paid R215 385. Should five plus one be matched by one person, the one winner with five plus one will get more. We have an automatic system that calculates our results. Thereafter, the results are also manually calculated and the auditors are always present.
Please also note that all our draw results are audited by independ-ent auditors from Mazars who ensure that results are always accurate.
We are transparent with our draws and would like to invite the public to visit us.
