Self-published book author Lance Brown recently released a starter pack called “You are your own Opportunity”, which includes a copy of his book titled The Driver of Change, a working manual and a DVD recording.
The DVD explains how he went from being a delivery driver to finding himself in London, doing a presentation on income tax.
The working manual contains six habits needed to help one seize opportunities and run the race, from having a winning attitude, to stepping out of your comfort zones and building self-confidence.
Mr Brown presents workshops to high school pupils about his journey and “Creating Opportunities” philosophy. He explains how you can seize common occasions and make them great.
“I personally believe that by using the material in the starter pack, together with perseverance, patience and determination, you can achieve anything you put your mind to,” he said.
He said there is no doubt that a mindset change needs to happen in the community.
