Lantana Primary School Grade 5 pupil Leighton Schoeman has won first place in the national Pick n Pay Hero Awards. Leighton recently lost her mother and went through a tough time. According to her teacher, Alnita Ambraal, she is honest, brave and always trying to do her best while showing immense respect to her peers and teachers.
