Heritage celebration

Pupils at Portland Educare ended their school term on Friday October 1 by celebrating their heritage and diversity with food, including koeksisters, amasi, boerewors rolls and milk tart, and by dressing in the clothes of various cultures. Principal Priscilla Pelston said: “We did it for the love of our nation and most of all for the love of our kids.”
