The Mitchell’s Plain Bible Institute held its first awards and graduation ceremony on Saturday November 16. For eight months during the past year, lecturers Roger Dickson and Steve Zimmerman took preachers and church leaders, pictured, through studies of the gospel under the leadership of institute director, Professor Farrell Tempers, Dean Albert Tromp and local administrator Dougmore Coetzee. Professor Tempers said the objective of the Bible Institute was to bring church leaders closer together. “We have learned that religion moves us further apart from one another, but the simple Gospel of Jesus brings us closer together.” For more details on the Mitchell’s Plain Bible Institute, call 073 648 0881 or email farrell.tempers09@gmail.com
