Fundraiser for Cancer awareness

The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) launched its 2017 Relay For Life Mitchell’s Plain event at Westgate Mall on Saturday July 30. Relay For Life is a community owned, fund-raising initiative for Cansa. The aim of Saturday’s event was to market the Mitchell’s Plain Relay For Life and to encourage survivors to register for the relay and create awareness of Cansa’s services delivered in Mitchell’s Plain. Mitchell’s Plain started the first Relay For Life in the Cape Metro 11 years ago and is now one of six in Cape Town with 75 others across the country.
