Warrant Officer Wynita Kleinsmith spokeswoman for Lentegeur SAPS, said a blue Nissan was stopped and searched at a visible control point along Swartklip Road in Mandalay.
“A .38 special revolver with six rounds of ammunition was found. The suspect, 49, was asked for his firearm licence and produced a licence belonging to his father who died in 2012,” she said.
