Festival stalls still available

While the 2016 DSTV Mitchell’s Plain Festival may be three months away, organisers are hard at work securing last minute exhibitors and traders. The festival brings together residents, business, tourists, government departments, organisations and informal traders, at the Westridge Gardens, from Friday November 25 until Sunday November 27. Mitchell’s Plain celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and the festival is eight years old, and growing its support every year. Since inception, the South African National Defence Force, including the SA Army, SA Navy, SA Air Force and SA Medical Services remain one of the major exhibitors and participants taking up more than two thousand square metres at this event to showcase its hardware, technical abilities, host mock attacks and to conduct free medical check-ups. Food stalls have already been sold out but interested traders and exhibitors can still apply.
