Myrtle Jack, from Beacon Valley, founder God’s Angels Reaching Out, said she loves feeding those in need. With the help of volunteer Cisheena France, they cooked soup for seniors, disabled people, children and the homeless and served it at a Town Centre supermarket on Thursday March 2.
Jaco Scheepers, manager at Boxer supermarket, said he was delighted to have served the community.
Ms Jack said: “Mr Scheepers has helped us, thank you for reaching out to provide me with the ingredients to cook for the underprivileged. This is our vision and mission, to share and care for the poorest of the poor.”
