Members of Concerned Parents of Beacon Valley and Neighbourhood Watch Sector 3 distributed food and cooldrink to 200 people living in Town Centre on Sunday May 16.
They usually distribute food to their neighbours, people living in Town Centre and at Mitchell’s Plain Community Health Centre every Tuesday and Thursday.
Founder of the organisation Suraya Petersen said they decided to serve Sunday lunch, following Eid ul Fitr celebrations on Friday May 14.
“We serve the community and we will do our best to help, where we can,” she said.
They are in need of sponsored ingredients and pots. For more information call Suraya Petersen on 062 127 9257.
